About the Position
The Accounts Payable Executive will play an important role in managing vendor payments, maintaining financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and company policies. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and finance teams to ensure efficient financial operations and accurate payment processing.

Accounts Payable Executive
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Processing vendor invoices accurately and within established timelines.
- Verifying invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documents.
- Preparing and processing payment runs, including bank transfers and cheque payments.
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
- Coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers regarding payment-related matters.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Supporting audit processes through documentation and reporting.
- Monitoring outstanding accounts and ensuring timely payments.
- Preparing financial information and supporting management reporting requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Additional professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar certifications will be considered an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Overall minimum 5 years of work experience.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience within Dubai.
- 2–5 years of direct experience in Accounts Payable or similar accounting functions.
- Experience in financial reporting and accounting operations is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- SAP experience will be an added advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Personal Skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
