Key responsibilities
The nurse will support the EAMC General, Aviation and Occupational Health departments, including:
- Supporting physicians during aviation and occupational medical examinations.
- Conducting vital signs, vision tests, ECG, audiometry, spirometry, BMI checks and vaccinations.
- Maintaining confidential medical records according to UAE regulatory requirements.
- Checking and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
- Supporting infection-control and aseptic standards.
- Maintaining emergency drugs and crash-cart supplies.
- Participating in health-awareness programs, events and campaigns.
- Reporting incidents and maintaining nursing competency records.
Required qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with BSN or Diploma in Nursing.
- Minimum 3 years’ registered nursing experience.
- Valid UAE DOH/DHA nursing licence.
- Experience in a large hospital or medical centre.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in chronic disease management.
- Valid BLS certificate and emergency first-responder registration.
- Aviation/occupational nursing experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of DOH, GCAA and OSHAD requirements.
- Good English and computer skills.
