Job Responsibilities, Qualifications & Eligibility

Air Arabia is looking for a qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse to join its medical team in Sharjah. The selected candidate will provide primary healthcare services to employees, support occupational health programs, and ensure compliance with aviation medical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients’ health conditions and assess their medical needs.
  • Record vital signs and collect samples for medical examinations.
  • Prepare employees for GP consultations, regulatory medicals, and health screening programs.
  • Administer oral, intramuscular (I/M), and intravenous (I/V) medications as prescribed.
  • Perform nursing procedures, including ECG, spirometry, blood glucose testing, blood pressure monitoring, ear lavage, wound dressing, and other clinical procedures.
  • Provide immediate medical care during workplace emergencies.
  • Assist physicians in developing individualized patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information systems.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Follow infection prevention, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Nursing Degree.
  • Valid MOH License.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and medical database systems.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.

Experience & Skills

Candidates should have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in primary healthcare or a similar clinical setting.
  • Ability to work on rotational 24-hour shifts.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency care procedures and nursing practices.
  • Good understanding of infection control, sanitation, and healthcare safety standards.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
