Overview of the Role
The Warehouse Specialist position plays a critical role in supporting the Parts Operations team at Al-Futtaim Automotive | FAMCO. The role is responsible for the accurate and safe handling of automotive spare parts, including receiving, sorting, storing, packing, and dispatching. By ensuring error-free operations and adherence to productivity, quality, and safety standards, the Warehouse Specialist directly contributes to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the successful candidate will:
- Receive and deconsolidate incoming automotive spare parts and accessories
- Sort, pack, and ship parts according to approved handling and packaging standards
- Store inventory in an organized and easily accessible manner
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and report discrepancies
- bin stock replenishment to support uninterrupted operations
- Follow special handling instructions for specific customer or internal orders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
- Comply with all company policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful as a Warehouse Specialist, candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to recognize part numbers and alphanumeric codes, and a clear understanding of standard operating procedures. Basic computer literacy, physical stamina, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required are essential.
