Job Purpose

The Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of employees, labourers, visitors and supplies using company vehicles.

The position also involves supporting project teams with equipment transportation, workspace preparation and other operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Transporting labourers, office staff and visitors safely between designated locations.
• Ensuring timely transportation using company vehicles.
• Planning destinations and routes before starting journeys.
• Arranging vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Monitoring oil changes, tyre rotation, cleaning and other routine maintenance.
• Coordinating with rental companies regarding vehicle repairs and replacements.
• Ensuring effective use of company vehicles and fuel.
• Assisting the administration department with utility bill payments.
• Ensuring required materials are available on-site during project execution.
• Loading and unloading equipment safely.
• Supporting cable-pulling and cable-dressing activities where required.
• Unpacking materials safely.
• Preparing and cleaning workspaces before project activities begin.
• Removing unused materials and maintaining an organized work area.
• Supporting project teams with transportation and other assigned operational tasks.

Skills and Experience
