Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre Launches ‘Dhay’ Photography Competition with Cash Prizes

Abu Dhabi: The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre has officially launched the latest edition of the ‘Dhay’ Photography Competition, inviting photographers from around the world to capture the beauty, architectural brilliance, and spiritual atmosphere of the UAE’s iconic grand mosques.The competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers, providing an opportunity for photography enthusiasts of all skill levels to showcase their creativity. Participants may submit photographs taken using either professional cameras or mobile phones.

According to the organisers, the competition aims to promote artistic expression while highlighting the rich cultural, religious, and architectural heritage of the UAE through compelling visual storytelling.Winners of the competition will receive cash prizes, with AED 5,000 awarded to the first-place winner, AED 3,000 for second place, and AED 1,000 for third place.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre is currently accepting entries, and the submission deadline is 12 July 2026.Photography enthusiasts are encouraged to take part in the competition and submit their best images that reflect the beauty, elegance, and cultural significance of the UAE’s grand mosques.
