PUMA Careers UAE 2026: Global Sportswear Brand Hiring Retail Sales Associates – Apply for Latest Retail Jobs

UAE Anuja Staff Editor — July 20, 2026 · 0 Comment

PUMA announces Retail Sales Associate vacancies for its UAE retail operations.

PUMA has grown from a small family-run footwear business in Germany into one of the world’s most influential sportswear brands, recognized for its innovation, premium quality, and iconic athletic products. Today, the company operates in more than 120 countries, serving millions of customers through an extensive portfolio of footwear, apparel, accessories, and performance equipment. Whether on the football field, running track, basketball court, golf course, or city streets, PUMA continues to inspire athletes and consumers by combining cutting-edge technology with modern design.

Headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany, PUMA has established itself as one of the leading names in the global sporting goods industry. The brand is trusted by professional athletes, international sports teams, celebrities, and fashion enthusiasts alike. Its success is built on decades of innovation, exceptional craftsmanship, and a commitment to creating products that deliver both high performance and contemporary style.

The company’s remarkable journey began in 1919, when brothers Rudolf Dassler and Adolf Dassler started producing athletic shoes in their parents’ home. What initially began as a small workshop gradually expanded into the Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory, where the founders focused on designing lightweight footwear that could improve athletic performance. Their dedication to innovation quickly attracted the attention of competitive athletes and sports organizations.

International recognition came during the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam, where several German athletes competed wearing Dassler footwear. However, it was the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games that firmly established the company’s global reputation when legendary American sprinter Jesse Owens won four Olympic gold medals while wearing Dassler-designed spikes. This historic achievement demonstrated the effectiveness of the company’s footwear technology and placed the brand at the center of the international sporting world.

Following the separation of the Dassler brothers in 1948, Rudolf Dassler founded his own company, which was officially renamed PUMA later that year. The company immediately focused on developing innovative sports footwear, introducing groundbreaking products that transformed the industry. One of its earliest milestones came with the launch of the SUPER ATOM football boot, the world’s first football boot featuring screw-in studs. This innovation revolutionized football equipment by allowing players to adapt their boots to different playing surfaces and weather conditions.

Over the following decades, PUMA expanded far beyond football, developing advanced footwear, apparel, and equipment across multiple sporting disciplines including running, basketball, motorsport, golf, training, and lifestyle fashion. Continuous investment in research, product development, and athlete partnerships enabled the company to remain at the forefront of sports innovation while successfully entering the global fashion market through its popular Sportstyle collections.

Today, the iconic leaping cat logo symbolizes speed, confidence, determination, and performance around the world. Classic collections such as the PUMA Suede and Speedcat continue to enjoy global popularity, blending athletic heritage with contemporary fashion trends. The company has also strengthened its international presence through complementary brands including Cobra Golf and stichd, further expanding its reach across multiple sporting and lifestyle categories.

With a global workforce of more than 20,000 employees, PUMA continues to build a workplace driven by creativity, teamwork, diversity, and innovation. Employees across retail, marketing, design, logistics, technology, and corporate operations contribute to shaping one of the world’s most respected sports brands. As the company continues to expand across international markets, PUMA offers exciting career opportunities for professionals who are passionate about sport, customer service, retail excellence, and personal growth.

As one of the world’s leading sportswear companies, PUMA continues to expand its retail operations by recruiting enthusiastic and customer-focused professionals who are passionate about sports, fashion, and premium customer service. The latest recruitment drive offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to build a successful career in the retail industry while working with one of the most recognizable global sports brands.

A career at PUMA is more than selling footwear or apparel. Employees become brand ambassadors who represent the company’s values of innovation, performance, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
