About the Job
Job Title: Junior Accountant
Printerpix is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its growing finance team in Dubai. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career accounting professionals to gain hands-on experience in international financial reporting, multi-currency accounting, and global tax compliance.
As a Junior Management Accountant, you will support day-to-day financial operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, performing reconciliations, preparing management reports, and ensuring financial data integrity across multiple international markets. Your work will provide the reliable financial information needed to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Build
As part of the finance team, you will help build and maintain Printerpix’s international financial data infrastructure by:
- Organizing and refining the foundational data used for monthly management accounts to provide leadership with real-time visibility into global business performance.
- Managing reconciliation models for international tax regimes, ensuring compliance with VAT, IOSS, and GST requirements across multiple markets.
- Assisting with month-end variance analysis by comparing operational spending against regional marketing and product budgets.
- Supporting month-end close activities through accurate general ledger entries, prepayments, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Verifying and reconciling revenue generated from multiple e-commerce channels, digital payment gateways, and storefront APIs.
Your First 90 Days
First 30 Days
- Learn the company’s global general ledger system and multi-currency accounting processes.
- Assist with multi-currency bank reconciliations.
- Take ownership of prepayments, monthly accrual schedules, and transaction processing.
First 60 Days
- Independently manage balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare supporting documentation for VAT and GST reporting.
- Build confidence in handling routine accounting operations.
First 90 Days
- Manage complex balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations for assigned business entities.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing budgets against actual financial performance.
- Present findings to finance leadership to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or e-commerce finance.
- Experience with UK and USA financial accounting and the ability to prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Experience performing bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Knowledge of multi-currency accounting involving USD, GBP, EUR, and foreign exchange adjustments.
- Familiarity with international taxation, including VAT, IOSS, and GST.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP FICO, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Knowledge of e-commerce financial reporting and contribution margin analysis.
- Experience with Power BI, Looker Studio, or basic SQL reporting.
- Exposure to financial automation tools and API-driven reconciliation processes.
