Main Accountabilities

Conducting a daily medical examination for the children so as to discover diseases and the children infected by them and to isolate these children for presenting them to the physician or referring them to the hospital.

Overseeing health and safety, hygiene, and sickness policies and ensuring the clinic is kept up to date for DHA or any other government body inspections

Preparing a safe play environment, setting up equipment, ensure toys and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately.

Supporting teachers in classrooms as an assistant teacher wherever needed

Carrying out first aid treatment for children and staff and or calling for emergency assistance whenever required.

Ensure compliance with DHA rules and regulations.

Provide training for nursery on the management of allergies, and other major medical conditions to promote good health care practice.

Practices infection control policies and has awareness of this in everyday practice.
