Core Responsibilities

Claims & Policy Support

In this role, you will assist with both insurance claims and policy management activities. Responsibilities include collecting and validating claim documentation, maintaining claims tracking systems, and coordinating with internal departments for claims notification and follow-up. You will also support the preparation of claims submissions to underwriters and contribute to monthly and quarterly claims reporting.

On the policy side, you will help gather and organize data for local and global policy renewals, maintain the Global Insurance Policy Register, and assist in preparing renewal summaries and policy status reports. Distribution of insurance certificates to relevant stations and stakeholders is also part of the role.

A strong analytical focus is required. The Senior Insurance Officer supports reporting and data integrity by compiling information for dashboards, reconciliations, and management reports such as Monthly Declarations to Finance. You will help maintain the Enhanced Liability Contract Database and identify data inconsistencies, working with relevant teams to resolve them.

The role also involves assisting with contract and tender reviews by logging submissions, tracking documentation, and coordinating with brokers for coverage clarifications

Training, Coordination & Administration

You will support internal training initiatives by helping organize awareness sessions and preparing communication materials. Administrative responsibilities include coordinating insurance premium payments through the procurement system, scheduling meetings, maintaining documentation, and supporting internal and external audits. Regular interaction with brokers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders is a key part of the role.

  • 2–4 years of experience in insurance, finance, or data analysis
